Held at the Methodist Church Hall in Winton Street the boxing club is a 'non contact' club where basic fitness and self control is taught, physical contact is restricted to punching at an opponents gloved hand as professional boxers do, and shadow boxing. Participants must be between the ages of 10 and 18 years of age and the club is open to boys and girls.
The trainers are all part of an organisation which exists as the "Empire Sports Club" on Newfoundland Road in Bristol, and has been expanding across Bristol and the surrounding Counties for many years.
Venue: Methodist Hall, Winton St. Time: Monday evening at 8.15pm.
